Work on real accounts, not busywork
Zainfy is a small marketing team that works with home remodeling and construction contractors across Georgia, Florida and Michigan. We have two internships open right now.
Most internships hand you a spreadsheet to tidy and a folder of stock photos. Ours do not, because we are too small to carry anyone who is not doing real work. You will be on live accounts, with a real client’s money and reputation attached, from the first month. That is the offer and it is also the warning.

What it is like here
We work with one type of client: contractors who remodel kitchens, bathrooms and homes in the United States. Everything the team does points at one outcome for them, which is more qualified enquiries from homeowners who are ready to spend. That focus is why a small team can compete with agencies many times our size, and it is also why we expect people to actually learn the industry rather than treat it as generic marketing.
The team is distributed and the work is asynchronous. Nobody is watching a clock. What we do watch is whether the work landed, so you will be judged on output and on how clearly you explain your thinking, not on how many hours you were visible.
Both internships run three months, part-time, and both are paid. Strong performers are offered a permanent role at the end. We are not interested in running a rotating door of free labour, so if you are good and you want to stay, there is somewhere to stay.

Paid internshipSales Intern
Sales Intern
You will be talking to contractors in the US, in writing and on calls, about whether Zainfy is a fit for them. This is a consultative sale to business owners who are sceptical of marketing agencies, usually because the last one burned them. Nobody closes those people with pressure. You close them by understanding their business better than they expect you to.
What you will actually do
- Research contracting companies in Georgia, Florida and Michigan, and work out which ones have a real problem we can solve
- Write outreach that a busy contractor will actually read, and improve it based on what gets replies
- Handle inbound enquiries from the website: qualify, book, and prepare the founder for the call
- Sit in on discovery calls, take the notes that matter, and follow up properly
- Keep the pipeline honest, so we always know which deals are real and which are hope
What we are looking for
- Clear, direct written English. You will be judged on your writing before anything else, because most of this job is written.
- Comfort being told no, repeatedly, without taking it personally or going quiet for a week
- Genuine curiosity about how a business makes money. If you cannot get interested in how a remodeling company prices a bathroom, this will be a long three months.
- Enough organisation to follow up on day 4 and day 11 without being reminded
- Availability that overlaps with US business hours for at least part of the week
Nice to have, not required
- Any previous sales, support or customer-facing work, paid or not
- Familiarity with a CRM
- Some understanding of construction, trades, or home services
How hiring works
- You apply belowFive minutes. We read every application. The last question is the one that matters most, so answer it properly and skip the paragraph about being a passionate self-starter.
- We reply within 5 working daysShortlisted or not, you hear back either way. Silence is not our answer.
- A short practical taskSomething real and small, around 60 to 90 minutes. Sales candidates write an outreach message to a contractor we pick. Social candidates turn one real project folder into three posts. It is deliberately short, and we give you feedback on it whether or not we move forward.
- A 30 minute callWith Zayn. Mostly about how you approached the task and how you think, not a quiz on your CV.
- DecisionWithin a week of the call, with a start date agreed around your schedule.
Apply
One form, both roles. Pick the one you want in the dropdown. If you genuinely fit both, apply for the one you would choose if you could only have one, and say so in the last answer.

Social Media Marketing Intern
Remote, anywhere · Part-time · 3 months · Paid monthly stipend, with a path to a permanent role
Contractor social media is not brand social media. Nobody is trying to be witty. What works is a clean before and after, a short explanation of why a job was built the way it was, and enough local signal that a homeowner three streets away recognises the neighbourhood. Your job is to turn the raw material a contractor sends us, which is usually a folder of badly lit phone photos, into content that makes a homeowner call.
