Privacy Policy
What we collect on this site, exactly who can see it, how long we keep it, and how to have it removed. No filler, no borrowed template.
Last updated: September 7, 2026
The short version
We are a marketing agency, not a data business. We do not sell your personal information, we do not buy contact lists to build audiences, and we do not run any advertising that targets you across the web based on your visit to this site. What we collect is the information you type into a form on this site, plus standard analytics about how the site is used. Below is the detail, written plainly.
1. Who we are
Zainfy is a digital marketing agency serving home remodeling and construction contractors in the United States, with a focus on Georgia, Florida and Michigan. Zainfy is a trading name operated by its founders, Zayn Shah and Dr. Leslie Snead. Correspondence address: 7600 Wood Rd, Douglasville, GA 30134.
This policy covers zainfy.us and every page on it. It does not cover our clients’ websites. When we build or manage a website for a contractor, that contractor is the party responsible for their own visitors’ data, and their own privacy policy governs it.
Questions, requests or complaints about this policy go to info@zainfy.us.
2. What we collect
Information you give us
This is the only personal information we actively ask for. It comes from the contact form, the free audit request form, and any booking you make through our scheduling link:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number, where a form asks for it
- Company name, website URL and service area, where a form asks for them
- Whatever you write in the message field, which is up to you
If you email or call us directly, we hold that correspondence for as long as it is useful to the working relationship.
Information collected automatically
When you load a page on this site, our analytics records the usual technical detail: the pages you viewed, the order you viewed them in, roughly how long you stayed, the site or search that sent you, your approximate location at city level, your device type, browser and operating system, and a truncated version of your IP address. This is used to understand which pages are working and which are not.
We have IP anonymisation enabled in Google Analytics, and we have not enabled Google Signals, advertising personalisation or demographic reporting.
What we do not collect
We want to be specific, because vagueness in a privacy policy is usually hiding something:
- We do not use call tracking numbers, and we do not record or monitor phone calls made to us.
- We do not run an SMS or text message marketing program.
- We do not use session recording, heatmap or mouse-tracking software on this site.
- We do not use visitor de-anonymisation or identity-resolution services that attempt to attach a name or email to an anonymous visit.
- We do not run retargeting or remarketing advertising against visitors to this site.
- We do not collect payment card details on this website. Invoicing is handled outside the site by the payment processor, and the card details go to them, never to us.
- We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 18. This site is aimed at business owners.
3. How we use it
- To answer you. If you submit a form, we use your details to reply, ask follow-up questions and, if it goes that way, prepare a proposal.
- To deliver the work. If you become a client, your contact details and business information are used to run your account and produce your reports.
- To improve the site. Aggregate analytics tells us which pages answer contractors’ questions and which do not.
- To keep the site working. Spam filtering on forms, and security monitoring on the hosting.
- To meet obligations. Tax, accounting and record-keeping requirements that apply to any business.
We do not use your information to build advertising audiences, we do not enrich it against third-party data brokers, and we do not sell or rent it. If any of that ever changes, this policy changes first and the date at the top changes with it.
4. Who we share it with
Most privacy policies say “trusted service providers” and stop there. That tells you nothing, so here is the actual list of third parties that can touch data from this site:
| Service | What it does | What it sees |
|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager | Site analytics | Anonymised usage and device data. No form contents. |
| Google reCAPTCHA | Blocks automated form spam | IP address and interaction signals at the moment you submit a form. Governed by Google’s privacy policy. |
| Our web host | Serves the website | Server logs, including IP addresses, and form submissions in transit. |
| Our email provider | Receives and stores form notifications and correspondence | Everything you submit through a form or send us by email. |
| Our scheduling tool | Books calls | Name, email and the time you booked, if you use it. |
| Our email marketing platform | Sends our newsletter | Name and email, only if you subscribed. |
We will also disclose information where we are legally required to, and, if the business is ever sold or restructured, to the acquiring party as part of that transaction. In that case this policy travels with the data until the acquirer publishes its own.
5. Cookies and tracking
| Category | Purpose | Personal data? | Can you refuse? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Page delivery, security, spam prevention, remembering form state | Minimal and transient | No, the site will not work correctly without them |
| Analytics | Google Analytics 4, measuring page performance | Anonymised identifiers only | Yes, see below |
| Functional | Embedded scheduling and video, where present on a page | Set by the embedded provider | Yes, by blocking third-party cookies |
| Advertising and targeting | Not used on this site | None | Not applicable |
You can refuse analytics by installing Google’s opt-out browser add-on, by blocking cookies in your browser settings, or by using your browser’s private mode. Nothing on this site is gated behind accepting cookies.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control: browsers send these signals inconsistently and there is no agreed standard for honouring them. Because we do not sell or share personal information for advertising, there is no sale for such a signal to stop. We mention it here rather than pretending the question does not exist.
6. How long we keep it
“As long as necessary” is the industry standard answer and it is close to meaningless. Ours:
- Enquiries that do not become clients: 24 months from the last contact, then deleted.
- Client records: for the duration of the engagement, plus 7 years after it ends, because tax and accounting rules require it.
- Analytics data: 14 months, which is the retention period set in our Google Analytics property.
- Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe, plus a suppression record afterwards so we do not email you again by mistake.
- Server logs: as set by our host, typically under 90 days.
7. Your rights
An honest note first. Georgia and Michigan have no comprehensive consumer privacy statute, and Florida’s Digital Bill of Rights applies only to companies far larger than us. A business our size is not legally compelled to offer most of the rights below to most of our visitors. We offer them anyway, to everyone, regardless of where you live, because the alternative is claiming compliance with laws that do not apply to us in order to look serious.
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what we hold about you, and where it came from.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete what we hold, except records we must keep for tax or legal reasons, or that relate to a live contract.
- Send you a copy in a portable format.
- Stop marketing to you, which takes effect immediately.
Email info@zainfy.us with the request. We reply within 30 days. We may ask one or two questions to confirm you are who you say you are, which is a protection for you, not an obstacle. There is no charge, and asking will never affect the price or service you receive.
We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, so there is nothing for a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” request to act on. If that changes, a link will appear in the footer of every page.
8. Marketing and outreach email
We send business-to-business outreach to contracting companies, addressed to publicly listed business contact details, about services relevant to that business. Every message identifies Zainfy, includes our physical mailing address, and carries a working way to opt out. If you tell us to stop, by any means, we stop, and we add you to a permanent suppression list so a future campaign does not reach you again. Our newsletter is opt-in only and every edition has an unsubscribe link.
9. Security
The site runs over HTTPS, admin access uses strong authentication, and the platform and plugins are kept current. Access to form submissions and client records is limited to the people who need it to do the work. No system is perfect, and any business that tells you its security is absolute is overselling. If a breach ever affects your information, we will tell you what happened, what was involved and what to do about it, without waiting to be forced to.
10. Where your data is processed
Our team works from both the United States and Pakistan, and the third-party services listed above process data in the United States and elsewhere. If you are outside the United States, submitting a form here means your information is transferred to and processed in countries whose data protection rules may differ from your own.
11. Links to other sites
Our articles and case studies link out to search engines, government permit portals, industry associations, and our clients’ own websites. Once you follow a link, that site’s privacy policy applies, not ours. We have no control over what they collect.
12. Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes and the current version replaces the previous one on this page. If a change is significant enough to affect what we do with information we already hold, we will say so on this page rather than relying on you to notice the date.
