Contractor Website Design in Fort Lauderdale, FL

Fort Lauderdale contractor web design on WordPress, new builds and website redesigns, in English and Spanish, for remodelers, home builders, roofers, impact-window and general contractors across Broward County, Coral Springs to Pembroke Pines.

A Broward homeowner comparing three contractors decides on a phone, usually after dinner, sometimes in Spanish; a seasonal owner decides from New York in September. Contractor website design Fort Lauderdale FL has to pass that five-second test and then survive the checks that follow: the DBPR license lookup, the permit history on LauderBuild or the city portal, the Google reviews, the before-and-after gallery, and whether the site names Coral Ridge, Weston or Pembroke Pines or just says “serving South Florida”. We build contractor websites on WordPress you own, with the license number in the header as Florida Statute 489.119 requires, galleries by project type and part of the county, a waterfront or impact-opening page where your work calls for one, Spanish pages where your buyers read them, and the speed to load on a phone at a job site in Miramar. Website design for contractors Fort Lauderdale, construction web design Fort Lauderdale firms own outright, and website redesign Broward contractors can run without losing rankings: one service of three we run here; local SEO for Fort Lauderdale contractors brings the visit, the site turns it into a quote request.

Broward County by the numbers

Contractor websites in Fort Lauderdale: four numbers that set the brief

Broward County and City of Fort Lauderdale data, each figure with its source, and what each one changes about the site we build.
54.1%

Owner-occupied share of the City of Fort Lauderdale’s housing, against 63.6% across Broward County. Source: U.S. Census Bureau, QuickFacts, ACS 2020–2024. Almost half the city’s homes belong to landlords, investors and seasonal owners who approve a remodel from somewhere else, so the quote path has to work without a site visit.

43.8%

Share of Broward County residents who speak a language other than English at home. Source: U.S. Census Bureau, QuickFacts, ACS 2020–2024. The homeowner in Miramar, Pembroke Pines or Lauderhill reads your Spanish page first and your license number second; the site needs both, on the same WordPress install.

712

Single-family homes permitted across Broward in 2025, against 1,904 units in buildings of five or more and 2,690 in total. Source: U.S. Census Bureau, Building Permits Survey, county file 2025. A Fort Lauderdale contractor site sells renovation, re-roofing and additions on existing homes, and condo interiors; the new-build page is the small one.

489.119

Florida Statute §489.119 is the rule that puts your certificate or registration number in every advertisement, and the DBPR counts your website as one. We build it into the header, the footer and the schema, where a Broward homeowner and a condo board can check it in one click.

The Broward numbers behind these pages, set against nine other Florida markets, are in the 2026 Florida remodeling market report.

The problem

Why Fort Lauderdale contractor websites lose the lead

It never says which part of the county

“Serving Broward County” tells a homeowner in Weston nothing, and tells Google and the AI tools nothing. The site that names Coral Springs, Plantation, Pembroke Pines and Las Olas with a project from each is the one that gets the Coral Springs call, and the Coral Springs ranking.

It says “hurricane work” and stops

Broward owners know the High-Velocity Hurricane Zone and the Florida Product Approval by name, and the waterfront ones know the FEMA 50% rule. A site that says “storm-ready” without naming the approvals, the wind loads or the permit portal reads like an out-of-state template to the homeowner who has already read the county’s page on it.

The proof is buried

Before/after photos sit three clicks deep behind a stock hero image of a kitchen that is not in Florida. The homeowner opened the site to see your Coral Ridge kitchen or your Las Olas dock; make it the first thing on the screen.

It hides the license

No license number in the header, no CGC, CBC or CRC class, on a site that Florida law says must show it. In Broward the homeowner checks DBPR before the call and a condo board checks it before the bid is opened; a site without it is one more thing to doubt.

Buyer behavior

What Fort Lauderdale homeowners and condo boards check before they call

A Broward homeowner runs these checks before asking for an estimate, and the site has to pass each one in order.

Does this contractor work near me?

Named areas across the county: Las Olas, Coral Ridge, Victoria Park, Wilton Manors, Plantation, Davie, Weston, Coral Springs, Parkland, Pembroke Pines, Miramar, Hollywood, Pompano Beach, each with a project, not a footer list of cities.

Have they done my kind of project?

A portfolio gallery by project type: kitchens, baths, whole-house renovations, roofs, impact windows and doors, seawalls and docks, additions, pools and outdoor living, condo units, each labeled with the neighborhood and the year, so the Weston buyer finds the Weston work.

What will it cost, roughly?

A price-range page. A Las Olas Isles homeowner in a $2 million canal house and a Tamarac owner in a 1970s ranch both want to know whether you are their contractor before they type a message; a range per project type answers it.

Are they legitimate?

Credentials and licensing: DBPR license number and class (required in your advertising), insurance with a certificate a condo board can download, permit history a homeowner can match on LauderBuild or the city portal, product approvals for windows, doors and roofing, and reviews that name the street.

Can I read it in Spanish?

More than four in ten Broward households speak a language other than English at home. A Spanish homepage, service pages and quote form, with hreflang so Google serves the right one, for firms working Miramar, Pembroke Pines, Hollywood and Lauderhill; a Portuguese or Creole page where your reviews come in that language.

Will they look established next to the other two?

Three tabs open, three contractors. The site that looks like the established Fort Lauderdale firm with a showroom gets the benefit of the doubt; AI Mode made the same choice on October 22, 2026 when it led with the 40-year-old firm. Design, speed and proof placement decide it in seconds.

The build

What’s included in a Fort Lauderdale contractor website

The same build we run as contractor website design nationally, with the Broward pieces added: license in the header, product-approval and waterfront pages, area pages west of I-95, Spanish pages where the market reads them. Every site is custom WordPress on your own hosting, and you own every file, the rule behind every build in our contractor website design across Florida program. A kitchen and bath remodeler gets galleries by room and area and a price-range page; a home builder gets lot, waterfront and elevation pages; general contractor website design gets one page per service with a portfolio gallery for each; roofing company website design gets re-roof, approval and insurance-claim pages written inside Florida’s advertising rules; a general contractor gets one page per service with proof for each. Speed is built in, not bolted on: WebP images, lazy loading, one font, no page builders stacked on page builders, so a 40-photo canal-house gallery opens on a phone in Davie. On-page SEO, schema and an answer-first structure ship with the site, so it launches rank-ready for “kitchen remodel Coral Springs” and readable by Google’s AI and ChatGPT on day one. Three packages are below; our Fort Lauderdale social media work keeps the proof moving after launch.

Custom WordPress Build

No templates, no platform lock-in. You own the files, the hosting access and the domain from day one.

Before/After Portfolio

Structured by project type, building type and part of the county, built for Broward homeowners and boards who compare on a phone. Click-to-call, a quote form that asks project, city and timing, and the gallery on the first screen.

Neighborhood and Service Pages

Fort Lauderdale, Coral Springs, Pembroke Pines, Miramar, Plantation, Weston, Davie, Pompano Beach, Hollywood: pages written on each area’s housing, not one template with the city swapped, so each one can rank for its own suburb. The searches are singular and specific in our own Search Console, “website design for contractor Fort Lauderdale”, “website design for contractor Pembroke Pines”, “website design for contractor Miramar”, “website design for contractor Davie”, “website design for contractor Pompano Beach”, and a real page for each is how a firm takes them.

Core Web Vitals and Speed

INP, LCP and CLS passed at launch, mobile-first. Faster sites rank higher and hold attention longer.

Copywriting Included

Three to all pages depending on tier, written for a high-ticket decision, from your real jobs.

Quote Request and Speed-to-Lead

Forms with scope fields, instant alerts, optional CRM connection, click-to-call on every page and online booking on Growth and Success. Included in the Growth and Success packages.

On-Page SEO and AI Readability

Titles, headings, schema and an answer-first, AI-readable structure so Google, ChatGPT and other AI engines can read who you are, where in Broward you work, your license class and what you have built. Entity facts in plain text, the E-E-A-T signals the AI tools read, Fort Lauderdale and Florida spelled the same way everywhere, your DBPR number matched to your profile.

Google Business Profile Consistency

Name, address, phone, services and photos matched to the site, so the two tell one story to Google and to the homeowner.

Who we build for

What each trade’s Fort Lauderdale website needs

We build websites for one market: home remodeling, roofing and construction. In Broward each trade needs a different set of pages, because each trade’s homeowner checks a different thing before calling. Kitchen and bath remodelers, home builders, general contractors and remodeling firms are the core; in Fort Lauderdale the data adds roofing and impact-window contractors, waterfront and marine contractors, siding companies and condo specialists.

Kitchen and bath remodeler websites

A remodeling website design wins on photos: galleries by room, a price-range page, a bathroom remodel and walk-in shower page, Coral Ridge and Weston kitchens labeled as such, and a quote form that asks for the room, the city and the month.

Home builder websites

Home builder website design for the two ends of the county: waterfront and teardown pages for Las Olas Isles, Rio Vista and Harbor Beach with seawall, dock and elevation details and the FEMA 50% rule explained; lot and community pages for Parkland and Cooper City; a build-timeline page for both.

General contractor websites

Project-type pages for additions, whole-house renovations and structural work on 1950s–1970s block homes east of I-95; Florida license class in the header; a permit page that names LauderBuild for Fort Lauderdale and the right building department for Hollywood, Plantation and Coral Springs.

Construction company websites

Construction website design built on one page per service with proof for each, plus area pages across Broward, a capabilities page for commercial work near Port Everglades and the airport, and a bid-ready credentials page a GC or property manager can download.

Condo renovation contractor websites

A condo page that names what boards ask for: certificate of insurance naming the association, freight-elevator and work-hour plan, milestone inspection and SIRS repair experience under Florida Statute 553.899, unit reveals from the Galt Ocean Mile, Pompano and Hollywood beach, and a bid packet the property manager can forward.

Roofing and impact window websites

Re-roof, Florida Product Approval tile and metal, impact window and door, and insurance-claim pages written inside Florida’s roofing advertising rules, with wind-load and approval language a Broward homeowner recognizes; a storm-season page that is live before June 1; drone and before-and-after galleries by city, Pembroke Pines to Deerfield Beach.

Waterfront and marine contractor websites

Seawall, dock, boat-lift and canal-home pages, photo-first and fast on a phone, with the permit path, the elevation and the FEMA substantial-improvement rule explained in plain English; AI Mode already answers a Las Olas Isles renovation question with “marine logistics” before it names a firm.

Who we don’t take

HVAC, plumbing, electrical, landscaping and handyman companies. Different buyers, different websites.

Coverage

Broward markets we build for

Broward County is 31 municipalities and the unincorporated county, split by US-1, I-95 and the Turnpike into the waterfront, the mid-century core and the western suburbs, and two million people live in it. A Fort Lauderdale contractor site that names each part with a project from it ranks in each; the ones that say “South Florida” rank nowhere in particular. These are the areas our builds are written for; crews working south of the county line get the Miami-Dade version, with Spanish pages and NOA proof, on Miami contractor websites.

Las Olas Isles, Rio Vista and Harbor Beach

Las Olas Isles · Seven Isles · Rio Vista · Harbor Beach

Canal-front teardowns and whole-house renovations with seawalls, docks and impact openings; the highest budgets in Broward and the owners who check the FEMA 50% rule and the elevation certificate before they call.

Victoria Park, Coral Ridge and Wilton Manors

Victoria Park · Coral Ridge · Sailboat Bend · Flagler Village · Wilton Manors · Oakland Park

1950s–1970s homes between US-1 and I-95, historic homes along the New River in Sailboat Bend, and the downtown condos of Flagler Village: kitchens, baths, additions and whole-house work permitted through LauderBuild; galleries by street name matter here more than anywhere in the county.

Galt Ocean Mile, Pompano Beach and Deerfield Beach

Galt Ocean Mile · Lauderdale-by-the-Sea · Pompano Beach · Deerfield Beach

The condo coast. Milestone inspections, concrete restoration, balcony and unit renovations; the site talks to boards and property managers with a credentials page and a bid packet.

Hollywood, Dania Beach and Hallandale

Hollywood · Dania Beach · Hallandale Beach

Older coastal stock and bilingual buyers on the Miami-Dade line; roofing, impact-window and remodeling pages in English and Spanish, with Hollywood’s own building department named on the permit page.

Plantation, Davie and Cooper City

Plantation · Davie · Cooper City

Family homes and acreage west of I-95: additions, pools, outdoor living and kitchen updates; the first suburb pages a Fort Lauderdale firm needs, and the ones a “serving Broward” site never ranks for.

Weston, Parkland and Coral Springs

Weston · Parkland · Coral Springs

1990s–2000s suburbs with re-roofs and kitchen updates coming due; “website design for contractor Coral Springs” is the most-searched Broward term in our own Search Console, and a Coral Springs page is how a contractor takes it.

Pembroke Pines, Miramar and the west

Pembroke Pines · Miramar · Sunrise · Tamarac · Margate · Lauderhill

The largest population block in Broward and the one that searches in Spanish, Portuguese and Creole; Pembroke Pines and Miramar contractor-website searches already reach this site, and area pages in two languages are how your firm takes them.

A Fort Lauderdale contractor site: template, “free” or one you own

Fort Lauderdale contractors are offered three things: a template site with another city’s photos, a Houzz or directory profile sold as a website, a website bundled into a monthly marketing fee that disappears when the fee stops, and a “free” site on a platform that owns the content. Each one costs more than it looks, because the leads it brings belong to the platform or the fee, not to you.

FAQ

Contractor website design in Fort Lauderdale: questions contractors ask

For closing, yes; for volume, it depends. Contractors argue this in every trade forum and land in the same place: the referral still gets Googled, and what the homeowner finds decides whether the WhatsApp message turns into an estimate. A Broward homeowner who hears your name from a neighbor in Coral Springs checks the site for the license, the reviews and a kitchen from their part of the county. If any of the three is missing, the referral goes to the second name on the list.
$1,499 to $2,999 with Zainfy, one-time, on WordPress you own, with Spanish pages priced inside the package where you need them. The $999 five-day site is usually a template with stock photos and no area pages; the $6,000 quote is usually a general agency pricing a brochure. What a Broward contractor needs sits between: real galleries, suburb pages, the license in the header, and speed on a phone.
You can exist there; you cannot be found or verified there. Social does not show for “kitchen remodel Coral Springs” or “impact windows Fort Lauderdale”, and a condo board cannot download a certificate of insurance from a Reel. Instagram is where the homeowner checks your recent work after the search; the website is where the search lands, the license is checked and the quote request is sent. Run both; the site is the one that ranks.
In western and southern Broward, yes, and no. More than four in ten households speak a language other than English at home, concentrated in Miramar, Pembroke Pines, Lauderhill and Hollywood, so a Spanish homepage, service pages and quote form bring in buyers a translate button never reaches, because Google does not index a button. We build them as real pages with hreflang. East of I-95, the keyword data usually says English only; we follow the data, not the map.
Four things, on one page. A certificate of insurance naming the association as additional insured, available on request; your DBPR license number and class; milestone-inspection or SIRS repair projects you have completed, with the building type; and a plan for the freight elevator, work hours and unit access. A property manager on the Galt Ocean Mile or in Pompano forwards that page to the board; without it the bid is read last, if at all.
It is common, and it is rent. A monthly-fee site usually lives on the provider’s platform under their account; stop paying and the site, the photos and sometimes the domain go with it. A site you own costs once and the changes are yours to make or to hand to anyone.
Explain them; the homeowner who searched the terms is the one you want. All of Broward sits in the High-Velocity Hurricane Zone, the county’s Board of Rules and Appeals applies the code across every city, and windows, doors and roofing need a Florida Product Approval or a Miami-Dade NOA to be permitted. A Fort Lauderdale homeowner who has read the county’s page on it is looking for the contractor who says the same words. On October 22, 2026 Google’s AI Mode opened a waterfront renovation answer with wind loads and the FEMA 50% rule before it named a single firm; a page that explains them is the page it quotes.
Show ranges. Homeowners keep asking why contractors hide pricing, and a visitor who cannot tell whether you are a $30,000 or a $150,000 kitchen contractor closes the tab. A range per project type, Las Olas budget to Tamarac budget, filters the calls to the ones you want and reads as confidence.
Yes. Only 54.1% of the City of Fort Lauderdale’s homes are owner-occupied; the rest belong to landlords, investors and snowbirds who approve a remodel from another state in September and expect photos, a schedule and a payment plan by email. A remote-owner page, a progress-update promise and a quote form that works without a site visit are what that half of the market needs.
It is enough to exist, not to be found. One page cannot rank for Coral Springs and Las Olas and impact windows at once, cannot hold a gallery by area, and gives a condo board nothing to download. Start with five: home, two service pages, one area page for your strongest suburb, and the credentials page; add the rest as the work comes in.
Less than who owns it and how fast it loads. The bundles sold to Fort Lauderdale contractors keep the site on the agency’s account whatever it is built on; that is the problem to avoid. We use WordPress because it is portable, it handles area pages and Spanish pages cleanly, and any developer in Broward can take it over if you ever leave us.
